Abstract
Various types of tumors can occur within the nasal cavity, among which non-epithelial tumorsare relatively rare and most are benign. Being a non-epithelial tumor, intraosseous cavernoushemangioma (ICH) is very rare and makes up 0.7% to 1.0% of the total bone tumors. It canoccur anywhere in the body but mainly in the vertebrae and calvarium. In addition, when itoccurs, it does mostly in the maxilla, mandible and nasal bone but uncommonly in the facialbones. It is thus extremely rare for ICHs to occur in the inferior turbinate and only five suchcase reports have been published to date in English literature and none in Korea. Here we re-port a case of ICH of the right inferior turbinate in a 43-year-old male.
